Finals time again. This year it's not that bad, though. A philosophy paper, a geography lab (grr, I say. GRR), sixty-something critiques of final 3D modeling projects and a final animation.

The animation is pretty much completed, and it won me 2nd place at the Excellence in Computer Graphics Awards. My 110 abstract won me 3rd in that category. So much for another grand prize this year.

Mike does say that he's going to do an animation of me getting my cranium bashed in with a roomba, but I think he likes the Hatboy picture. He just looks so happy.

In other news, I'm going to Fanime this weekend (insert high pitched girlish squee here). I'm not that into anime but it'll be amazing, I know. We're going as Pokemon, but just with dresses in the proper colors. And legwarmers. A la Cats. I'm sewing all five of the dresses and will definitely be pulling an all-nighter on Thursday. I am also getting Pokemon Red, so with my two gameboys, a cable and Pokemon Blue we will catch 'em all! In... only three days.

Yeah. Because I'm awesome like that.
